Matthew has developed a broad practice spanning both civil and criminal litigation, and accepts instructions across all areas of Chambers’ work.
On the civil side, Matthew’s practice covers a wide range of matters, from general civil and commercial disputes to personal injury and medical negligence claims.
On the criminal side, Matthew has conducted an extensive volume of court work across a wide spectrum of offences, including traffic offences, sexual offences, drug offences, money laundering, fraud, and bribery.
Throughout his pupillage and practice, Matthew has appeared at all levels of court, from the Court of Final Appeal, the Court of Appeal, to the Magistrates’ Courts.
Matthew read law at the University of Nottingham, where he obtained his LLB, and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) at the City University of Hong Kong. He was called to the bar upon the successful completion of his pupillage with Mr Arthur Luk SC, Mr Bruce Tse SC, Mr James Tze, and Mr Richard Yip.
