Profile:
Jack was called to the Bar in 2025. Before joining Chambers, he served as a Judicial Assistant at the Court of Final Appeal. During that time, he assisted the Judges with substantive appeals and applications for leave to appeal, primarily in the realms of public law and criminal law. His work had been acknowledged for its quality even measured by “high standards”, which reflected much of his “industry, knowledge, intelligence and sound sense”. [1]
Jack completed his pupillage with Mr. Joe Chan, Mr. Jeffrey Tam, Mr. Richard Yip and Prof. Simon Young. During limited practice, he represented and defended an accused on money laundering charges that involved nearly HK$900 million, in a two-week jury trial held in the High Court.
Jack is currently developing a broad practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work, with particular interest in constitutional, administrative and criminal matters. He also teaches part-time at HKU on Constitutional Law.
Jack holds a law degree from HKU and a political science degree from CUHK, both awarded with First Class Honours.
